This 1800s home is located in the National Historic District of Blountville. The earliest owner was Thomas White and the historic building had several owners between 1824 and 1863 when John and Sallie Rutledge purchased the home. Rutledge was the Sullivan County Court Clerk and kept the records of the Baptist Church at Blountville.
